Moving, Crowning and Realising Mum’s 91!

Did you watch the coronation? On TV or did you travel to London to see it in person?

Unfortunately I did neither as I was busy moving Harry into his first very own flat, exciting! It would fall on that weekend though, typical!

The weather was not kind to the King or I but that didn’t put a dampener on either proceedings!

Brighton was quieter than usual due to the weather and the coronation which made it easier transporting all his stuff from his rental property in the centre to the more tranquil location of Hove, It’s lovely there and his property is just up from the beach.

I then spent Sunday driving from Horsham to Brighton with a car full of stuff he’d left in his nans garage.

But he’s settled in nicely, met his neighbours who all seem very friendly and is a rather happy chappy!

Millie and her partner are looking for a 3 bedroom house to rent ideally in the Crawley area or anywhere localish within reason, as they are moving out of their current accommodation due to the landlord selling. If you know of anyone who may have something then please let me know, they only have till the end of June!

My mother had a fall at the weekend so I am staying with her for the week till she gets back on her feet. She fell over whilst mowing the verge outside her house (the councils job!) She’s badly bruised and hobbling around using a stick which she’s not impressed by…..she’s 91 but does not act her age, she thinks she’s still 78!! I’m secretly grateful as she’s still very capable and I hope to be the same at her age! I was brought up in an active, healthy household which I am extremely grateful for as I have always wanted to continue on that path, apart from a blip in my early twenties when I was more interested in booze and boys!

There’s not any fitness news in this ‘fitness blog’ but I’m sure there will be next time! Thanks for reading, it’s much appreciated!

Be healthy. Be happy. Be fit

Bye for now!
