Do you need to be your own ‘Diet Detective?’

How to become your own DIET DETECTIVE!
It may well be that what you are putting into your body is having an effect on the way you are feeling.
‘You are what you eat’ is so true and if you keep eating the wrong foods then this may well show itself in your mood, your weight gain, your sluggishness, your bloatedness etc etc……….
The ideal way to find out is to try to eliminate certain foods from your diet and gradually reintroduce them to see how they affect you.
The best way is to detox your body (Try my free 7 day detox!)) and eliminate the main culprits such as wheat, dairy, gluten, and sugar. Try to cut out alcohol and caffeine as well through this time to really help the detoxification process.
Then introduce just one of the above food groups back in and see what happens over the next day or 2.
You may experience any of the symptoms below which may mean that you choose not to eat that food anymore if it makes you feel that way.
  • Bloatedness
  • Sluggishness
  • Headaches (although expect these also through the detox period!)
  • Indigestion
  • Diarrhoea/Constipation
  • Stomach cramps
  • Mood swings
Keep introducing the food groups one at a time until you find out which food is making you feel that way and then eliminate it or only have it very occasionally being aware that it will probably not make you feel good (Is it worth it?)
