Hiya,
I hope you have had a fantastic summer as I have and have been loving the hot weather we’ve been experiencing.
I have had a very peaceful August with half of my classes finishing for the summer. Numbers are much reduced through August so I ran a reduced timetable for those who wanted to carry on exercising though the summer.
Now its time to think about September and everyone coming back from holidays having eaten and drank too much and desperately wanting to get back into healthy eating and exercise mode…..this includes me, I have kept exercising but the diet has been a bit hit and miss!
MY RUNNING DIARY!
My first 10k run is this coming Sunday down in Arundel and I have been kind of training for it but still find running difficult…..It doesn’t seem to get any easier, for me anyway. I have done 8.5km in just under an hour but found it quite challenging which I find strange as I do lots of exercise and am pretty fit so was expecting to find it easier than I do….I shall persevere until I find it easier, I will not be beaten!! Maybe the fact that I find it quite boring is an issue?!
I will let you know how I get on on Sunday, unless I come last!!
BOOTCAMPS!
My bootcamps in Brockham are still going strong and I have places in all of them so take a look at my timetable and my gallery for pics and please come along for a free trial to give it a go. It feels great working outdoors and we do have a lot of fun whilst we are working hard. The location is fantastic and we have a whole field pretty much to ourselves. It beats working in a gym or studio, that’s for sure!
PILATES CLASSES!
I teach a lot of Pilates classes, some that are suitable for everyone and others are more suited to beginners/mature clients/clients with back issues so check out my timetable and get in touch if you are interested as most of them are either full or filling up fast. Check out the class description page to get an idea of what Pilates involves.
NEW CLASS!
I have a new class starting in September at Friends Life on Thursdays at 12.30 – 1.15. It’s called Body HIIT and is a high intensity interval training workout which changes weekly and is great for fat burning and speeding up metabolism for hours after you’ve finished the class, so come along and try it out. its non choreographed so easy to follow and you sweat loads!!
That’s all for now!
