Changes afoot!

I hope you had a fantastic easter break. I am now back to work after having a very easy 2 weeks teaching 4 classes per week instead of the usual 14 classes.

I always feel great after a little breather from the norm and come back with lots of energy and enthusiasm which I hope is a good thing for my clients.

There are a few changes coming up this year work wise and in my personal life.

I have bought a house with my partner and we will be moving in together in the next few weeks combining 2 families, nervous and excited at the same time! For those of you who know me well, you will understand what a nightmare we have had going through the house selling/buying process and hopefully am coming to the end of it now and will soon be in our new home together. I haven’t had a stressful moving experience before but this one has certainly tested me on every level! It’s a good thing I am a positive person and always believe things will come good in the end and I still believe that!

On the business front there are also some changes coming up this summer.

I will be giving up teaching for the U3A after the summer break as I have a couple of projects coming up that will require my attention. I have been teaching for the U3A for over 2 years and have enjoyed every moment and have met some wonderful, fit and healthy individuals of the more mature variety! Unfortunately I need to free up some time to fit in other things as well as having a new home that needs tarting up! I will speak to everyone in the U3A classes this week and let you know what classes you could join if you want to keep training with me. I will also be putting feelers out to see if I can find a replacement to take over from me in September.

I plan to do a menopause training course in the summer that will enable me to work with women approaching or going through the menopause and help them stay fit and healthy with the correct exercises and good nutrition. I am also considering taking a HOT Pilates course as I really fancy the challenge of teaching Pilates in a hot environment which I believe would increase flexibility and therefore enable movements to be taken further……and I do like to sweat!!

If you are interested in either of the above then please let me know as I would love to hear your thoughts.
