Hi there and a very happy new year to you!!
I hope you had a fantastic Xmas and have had a great start to the new year!
How are your new year fitness resolutions going? Remember don’t aim too high, it is better to give yourself smaller more achievable goals than huge unrealistic ones! Once you have reached that first small goal then make another small one and the feeling you get from achieving these goals will inspire you to carry on! It is best to write your goals down so that you actually have something to cross off on the list, bit like a to do list and put it somewhere where you will see it regularly like on the fridge, especially if you are on a weight loss journey and craving something you shouldn’t then seeing your goals on the door of the fridge will hopefully stop you in your tracks! Don’t beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon whether its weight loss, exercise routine, all is not lost but don’t let that stop you completely because then you will end up feeling even worse. You have to remember that when you are wanting to achieve a fitter, healthier and happier lifestyle then its a change for life not something that once achieved can be forgotten about! It has to be a complete mindset change as in attitude to food, lifestyle. breaking bad habits and then carrying on in that vein for the rest of your life. Again that doesn’t mean depriving yourself of all the things that you love. You have to achieve a balance that is right for you and everyone is different.
My Jan 2012
This has been a cracker of a month for me! January is always busy after the Xmas indulgencies with people desperate to shed those unwanted pounds but this year on top of everything else I went into business with my colleague Magda and we created lmk fitness which is predominantly a bootcamp business but as we develop it will also include core stability classes, power walking sessions and mummies and buggies! So please check out our website www.lmkfitness.com for times and availability. There really is something for everyone from beginners to intermediate to advanced and all ages are catered for. I am really excited about this new venture as Magda and I have the same passion for fitness and we both love helping people achieve their fitness potential!
If you are struggling with your fitness resolutions then please get in contact with me as I would love to help you achieve your goals. it can be through bootcamps/classes/personal training/advice on nutrition. That is what I am here for!
Bye for now!
