Hello, so we’re back here again!
How are you and what are your thoughts on another month of lockdown?
Are you feeling stressed, anxious, low, tired or are you seeing physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach cramps, joint pain, insomnia as these can occur when you are under stress!
Now is a really good time to look after yourself and create some healthy habits, feed your body nutritious food, keep your body hydrated, go for plenty of long walks and try to stay positive!
In the first lockdown a lot of people were furloughed and working from home which meant snacking from the fridge, drinking in the evening and not going to the gym because it was shut! Initially it felt like a bit of a holiday for some and this led to a relaxing of our normal fitness regime. The problem with that was it lasted a lot longer than a normal holiday would and that’s when the trouble starts. It’s a vicious circle that’s hard to get out of so let’s try to avoid that this time around!
I would recommend doing a big healthy food shop and getting rid of temptations so that when you open the fridge or cupboard door you see nothing but lots of colourful fruit, vegetables, fish, etc…..
Also make walking a regular daily pastime as this really helps not only with weight loss but mood especially if it’s a lovely crisp sunny day and you can soak up some vitamin D!
You are very welcome to join my FREE Facebook Fitness, Health and Wellness Group if you would like some support through this lockdown. I offer a weekly live workout and motivation, chat, recipes etc……
