Detox Done!

Hi there,

12 of us completed the detox at the beginning of March and we came up with some fantastic recipes and meal ideas.

It was a resounding success as usual and everyone on the detox  is going to stick to the main principles with the occasional treat along the way.

The headaches after day one were awful but luckily didn’t last long and after a few days most of us were feeling good, if a bit weak due to lack of starchy carbs!

I eat well most of the time anyway and feel great most of the time but I do struggle without my daily cup of coffee and replacing my beloved builders tea with nettle/green tea. So those will be staying in my daily diet as I am not prepared to go without them. We all have to make a choice and get a balance in our lives that we can happily live with because life is too short not to enjoy the foods/drinks you really love, just not too much or too often!

Here are some pictures of the meals that were cooked on the detox and you would never guess that they were detox meals as they looked and tasted delicious! Recipes will be following soon as I have had a lot of interest in the pictures and people want to know how to cook healthily using natural ingredients that haven’t been processed or mucked about with in any way.
