I hope you have a fantastic long weekend and that this fabulous weather continues for the most of it!

My Top Ten Fat Loss Tips

1) Don’t buy low fat products as the fat has been replaced with sugar and other additives to give it flavour and they play havoc with your system.

 2) Eat good quality carbs such as dark green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes and salad and avoid pasta and bread most of the time.

3) Cook with coconut oil or olive oil and dress your food with extra virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar.

4) Exercise regularly, choosing high intensity interval training over steady state training for effectiveness.

5) Get plenty of good quality sleep.

6) Avoid stress as this plays havoc with the fat storing hormone, so make time for relaxation and rest.

7) PMA (positive mental attitude) is essential for success but don’t beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon as it happens to all of us, just start again straight away.

8) Reduce alcohol intake dramatically as these are empty calories, albeit very tasty!

9) Eat plenty of good quality protein, meat and fish and try to eat it with every meal.

10) Cook from scratch so that you know exactly what goes in to your food.
